Initial Consultations
Our initial consultation is about establishing design specifications and budgets, leaving no stone unturned. We want to be as thorough as possible so we can deliver as accurate pricing as possible.
This includes a site visit to examine the work area, discuss plans and ideas, view examples of similar projects and get a general idea of the work involved. You can expect up to three additional meetings before a proposal of costs is delivered, allowing us time to do our homework and research on your behalf. We will present materials, swatches, product samples and design sketches and gather figures for your budget. The Proposal
Our proposal is not a quote, but an estimate based on our budget costing. We try to be as accurate as possible when building our budget and so include a schedule of work detailing the breakdown of the project by material and type of work, ie. plumbing, electrical. If we re-use materials, such as doors or fixtures, we will include that information because we believe in transparency.
